A peek to Forbes Hill’s luxurious village Clubhouse

and more Megaworld development on the rise in Bacolod

The view of the serene mountains, the gush of fresh wind and the quiet relaxed surroundings are enough to say that being in this prime location is a great privilege and living in this area is a blessing. I was fortunate to be invited by Megaworld to join the media and fellow bloggers in being the first to tour Forbes Hill’s Clubhouse at the Northill Gateway township in Bacolod City.

Forbes Hill is an upscale village development along the Bacolod-Silay Airport Access Road.

Sitting near the entrance of the 15-hectare Forbes Hill, Bacolod’s first upscale village development, the Clubhouse has many features that future residents and their guests can enjoy. It has a resort-type contemporary grand lobby, elegant welcome lounge, game and entertainment room, state-of-the-art fitness center, basketball court, lap pool and kiddie pool, sundeck pool lounge, gazebo park and garden, outdoor children’s play area, events hall and rows of retail shops.

The events hall can accommodate up to 150 people, depending on the seating arrangement. The facilities are exclusive to residents and members. Guests of residents may use the venue upon completing a registration process.

Apart from the Clubhouse, we also checked Forbes Hill is located within the 53-hectare Northill Gateway along the new Bacolod-Silay Airport Access Road, which offers 197 available residential lots only, ranging from 449 square meters to 861 square meters per lot. It is Megaworld’s first venture into luxury village development outside of Metro Manila.

Imagine your house having this view.

A short walking distance from Forbes Hill will be the Northill Town Center, which is an expansive commercial retail development by Megaworld Lifestyle Malls. It will feature rows of cafes, restaurants, retail shops, pasalubong centers, church, leisure parks and event areas. Connected to this Town Center is the Bacolod Welcome Park that was unveiled late last year, which features a 7.2-meter Las Vegas-inspired Welcome Marker. Beside it will soon rise the “iconic” McDonald’s.

Upper East Township

At the bustling side of the city, near the Bacolod City Government Center, will witness more property development at The Upper East Township of Megaworld. After it successfully launched last year its first tower, One Regis, another residential condominium is on the rise, which is the Two Regis. This 14-storey residential tower will be built at the corner of Regis and Madison Streets within the 34-hectare township in the eastern part of Bacolod City.

Strategically located just beside the proposed Megaworld Lifestyle Mall, Two Regis will offer units ranging from Studio (up to 31.5 square meters); Executive Studio (up to 37.5 square meters); One-Bedroom (up to 43.5 square meters) and Two-Bedroom (up to 87 square meters). Several available units have will their own balcony, overlooking the transforming landscapes of the township.

A key feature of the residential tower will be the three Skygardens, two of which are located on the 12th level, also known as the Lower Sky Suites Floor, and one at the center of the 8th level, also known as the Garden Suites Floor.

Aside from the Skygardens, Two Regis will be highlighted by first-class amenities at the 2nd level such as a lap pool, kiddie pool, fitness center, daycare center, and function rooms.

Each unit will have a semi-furnished kitchen, with modular overhead and under-counter cabinets, and its own electric burner cooktop with range hood.

Two Regis will be completed in 2023. Megaworld is expected to generate around P1.5-billion in sales from this new residential tower.

Land development of the township has already started late last year. Pipe-laying of underground utility lines, as well as sewerage and drainage facilities, have also started last year.

The company is scheduled to start the construction of the Lopue’s Annex Mall inside the township in the first half of this year to pave the way for the construction of the six-lane Upper East Avenue leading to Circumferential Road.
