First-time in Robinson@Cruse Sipalay

I was quite in luck that my high school buddies are frequent travelers to Sipalay and they have some contacts there. One of their friends is the owner of Robinson @ Cruse Beach Resort.  It is located at the Punta Ballo area where there is a stretch of white sand and a large marine sanctuary off its shore.

They never seem to run out of guests as small and big groups come and go in this resort. A diver’s pool (5 feet to 10 feet) is found there and a small souvenir shop. Their restaurant offers great food as they cook fresh seafood that has superb flavor.

There are many things to do in the resort. You can lounge at their hammock, sit by the beach, or play beach volleyball. You can choose to swim in the pool or at the beach.

The resort has been around for eight years already and their rates are quite reasonable, like P1,500 (app. USD 32.61). You can also rent their boat if you want to go island hopping.

  1. Whoah! This is a great review. For those who are planning to visit Sipalay, surely find this post interesting and helpful. Enjoying the beach with the reasonable prices they offer, I guess it is all worth it to spend a long vacation here!

  2. The food looks good and the seafood must be very fresh too. The resort rate is very reasonable. Really very good for those traveling on a budget but would like a clean and comfortable place to stay.

  3. Those fresh seafood dishes all look appetizing! Aside from relaxing in a resort, it’s food that I often look forward to trying. 🙂

  4. The resort looks like a great place to relax and spoil yourself for a bit. I usually don’t tend to spend too much time within a resort, as I like to explore as much as I can, but I can see how this one would tempt you to spend all your time there.

  5. This looks like a very simple resort where people spend most of their time out of the resort rather than inside! Is that the case for you too?

I love how traditional this resort looks. It’s perfect for that summer feel. It’s not modern at all. It’s a nice escape from the hustle and the bustle of the city.

  10. Looks cozy and beautiful. Love the wooden and bamboo setting. Definitely my kinda place.
