Scenezoned, a video series online that features eight famous personalities taking a meaningful journey to finest destinations in the Philippines, is gearing for a new round of adventures as Globe presents its season two.
The second season will follow the trails of celebrity Solenn Heusaff, LA Aguinaldo, and model and TV personality Tommy Esguerra, who will each journey to various spots in the Philippines. They will then take the trip with #ThePLAN in mind. This is a goal close to their heart, such as overcoming a fear or going back to their family roots. The untamed beauty of their destination, like the Yolanda Beach in Tacloban or Biri Island in Northern Samar is the backdrop of their odyssey.
These personalities will reach these beautiful locations through the help of Philippine Airlines, which is Scenezoned’s official airline partner.
Scenezoned mainstay Solenn Heusaff will open the season in episode 1 wherein #ThePLAN is to search a subject for Solenn’s newest art project. She gets overwhelmed by the attractive vistas in Biri Island and enjoys meeting the locals and learning more about their lives.
Episode 2 features two players from the Volcanoes, which is the Philippine National Rugby Team — Chris Everingham and Evan Spargo – who make their way to Tacloban for some rugby clinics with the local residents. #ThePLAN is to aid the community to rise up in order to be stronger and better, years after Typhoon Yolanda.
Season 1 of Scenezoned earned recognition from the Adobo Design Awards for Film Advertising. The flagship episode, wherein Solenn explored the World’ Most Beautiful island, Palawan, was at the top of the YouTube Ad Leaderboard during 2016’s second half. Other personalities who were in season 1 were Wil Dasovich, Katarina Rodriguez, and Alex Diaz who explored the Philippines and experienced the best of the country – from entering Samar’s deepest, sampling Bicol’s hottest chili pepper, and enjoyed the enchanted Siquijor island.
This current season of Scenezoned will feature six more personalities traveling the Philippines, each one carrying a Samsung Galaxy S8, along with their personal mission and #ThePLAN on how to see it through. Season 2’s first two episodes can be viewed on YouTube.com/Globeph. New episodes will be uploaded every other week so that viewers will be inspired to go out and achieve their goals.
