It’s neither the one in Morocco nor the hotel in New York. It’s not even the movie. It’s the private resort along the National Highway of Tagaytay City, the Philippines that has a breathtaking view of the smallest volcano in the world, Taal.
The infinity pool gives a visual effect of extending towards Taal Lake. And though I frequent Tagaytay, it is the first time that I have enjoyed the scenic Taal Volcano for two straight days.
It was raining when we arrived at Casablanca. And with the afternoon drizzle, it was expected that the night would be chilly. The night breeze was indeed freezing. Yet, there were brave souls who dipped into the pool for a midnight swim.
The not-so-brave ones had the option to play the piano, sing their hearts out at the videoke room, or have a game of billiards. Others content themselves with reading a book by the pool or just relax in the soft reclining chairs. With a wi-fi connection, guests have instant access to social network sites. But with 19 people, along with a baby and a toddler, the stay at Casablanca was nothing less than fun-filled. It was even like a picnic with the kitchen open for guests to cook and prepare their own meals.
It is recommendable to stay at Casablanca for a big group. A room, good for two to four people, ranging from P4,000 to P5,000 (more than US$100). No wonder that it has become a favorite for wedding receptions, commercial shoots, and private parties. Filipinos with friend and relatives from abroad or from the province bring their guests here for a weekend getaway.
Now, why only spend a morning or an afternoon in breezy Tagaytay when you can enjoy a dip in an infinity pool overlooking the picturesque Taal.
hi! thanks for the tip! the pool is nice.:)
The tours are quite cheap there at Casablanca. Would have expected it to be a lot more costlier.
“Hello there! 🙂
I have never been in the Philippines, but I am pretty sure that it is a nice and beautiful country!
By just looking at the pic, it seems that I am looking into a paradise. With such bounty of natural resources, vacationers would die wanting to view worth remembering vacation rentals by owner tourists attractions with their loved ones!

Hi Allyn! I’m so ecstatic seeing your comment here! I hope to see you soon. Yes, let’s go to Tagaytay when you come home. There’s another place to stay in Tagaytay which is a lot cheaper but more homey and rustic. Let’s plan it when you’re here.
Hi, may i know which homey and rustic hotel in Tagaytay this is please? Need to stay next month. Thanks.
You can stay at Casablanca or the homey one, called Casa MaRa. You can contact the owner through http://casamara.wordpress.com/about/.
