Our limited time during our last visit to Melaka afforded us with the opportunity to visit only a few museums in this historical city. We’d love to explore more, so we’ve come up with this list of 10 must-visit museums in Melaka, most of which have either free admission or charge less than RM 20.

Melaka Malaysia

Melaka Sultanate Palace Museum

Naning Traditional & Historical Museum

Constructed in 1951 at Bukit Naning (Bukit Pereling), Kampung Simpang Ampat, Alor Gajah, Melaka, this historic building served as the Official Residency and Hall for the Penghulu of Naning, first used by the 18th Penghulu, Haji Mohd Shah bin Mohd Said al-Haj, from 1953 until his death in 2004 as an Administrative Centre for Perpatih Customs.
