Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod is now open

While travelling is now allowed in certain countries and cities, there are still a lot of restrictions in place, especially for those where lockdowns are enacted now and then. But if you feel too overwhelmed being cooped in your home for over a year or several weeks and months, one option is to have a staycation.

Whether you are based in Bacolod City or are travelling to our city, one piece of good news is that Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod has now opened its doors to guests. Of course, health protocols are being observed for the health and safety of everyone.

Why stay in Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod? For one, it’s located in the SM City Bacolod Mall Complex and just a few minutes away from essential places in the city, such as the BREDCO seaport and the Bacolod City Public Plaza.

Recently, the Negrense Bloggers team was invited to check out the hotel’s amenities and I joined the small tour. First, we checked out the outdoor swimming pool for adults & kids, where one can also enjoy the sunset. On the same floor is the Fitness Center. We checked out the rooms – they have the Superior Room and the Deluxe Room. Their Junior Suites were occupied at that time so we didn’t have the opportunity to view them.

They also have small meeting rooms — Silay 1, Silay 2 and Silay 3 — as well as 2 private dining rooms. Their food and beverage outlets are Arima, their lobby lounge (which is an extension of Arima), Dash (a 24/7 grab and go counter) and Marapara Plaza (their pool bar).

We were treated to a sumptuous dinner at Arima. They served us Korean Buffalo Wings, Cheese Batons, Lumpritos, Mung Chowder, Arima Salad, Quattro Formaggio pizza, Fazzoletti di Funghi, Grilled Tomahawk, Chicken Confit, and samples of their desserts. Well, I could hardly eat everything as I got overwhelmed with all the food served to us.

Two days later, I went back to Arima with my sister to dine there on our own. I had a Chicken Binakol for lunch, which I enjoyed, while my sister tried the Fazzoletti di Funghi, which she can’t stop raving about.

I hope I’d be able to do a staycation here one of these days. As I have not travelled for quite some time, I miss spending a night or more in a hotel, and I’d want to do it soon.
