Choosing where to stay in Taipei can greatly affect the overall travel experience. During our trip, we found a comfortable and practical choice at Go Sleep Hotel Hankou, a place that offered the essentials we needed while keeping us close to the city’s exciting attractions.
Located just a block away from the lively Ximending Walking District, the hotel gave us easy access to one of Taipei’s most popular shopping and entertainment areas. Moreover, it was within walking distance of the MRT, making it convenient to explore other parts of the city.
For travelers who want a budget-friendly accommodation without sacrificing location, Go Sleep Hotel Hankou is worth considering.

A Warm Welcome with Unlimited Drinks
One of the things we immediately appreciated was the hotel’s lobby and dining area. Instead of just being a place to pass through, it became a relaxing corner where guests could enjoy unlimited drinks throughout the day.
The selection included different kinds of coffee and tea, as well as apple cider, orange juice, grapefruit juice, and water. After a long day of walking around Taipei, having a place where we could grab a refreshing drink anytime was a simple yet thoughtful perk.
The hotel also had a tourist assistance corner where an English-speaking staff member was always ready to help. Whether guests needed directions, travel tips, or assistance with their plans, the friendly service made our stay more pleasant.

A Room Designed for Comfort
Our room was spacious enough for three to four people, which worked well for our group. Although it was not an overly luxurious space, it provided everything we needed after busy days exploring Taipei.
The room had a bright and cheerful atmosphere because of its colorful flower-designed wallpaper. The wide beds came with clean sheets, comfortable pillows, and cozy comforters, giving us a restful place to recharge.
The room also included useful amenities such as a television, hairdryer, water pot, refrigerator, and vault. The hotel provided several essentials, including slippers, toothbrush kits, razors, brushes, soap, cotton buds, towels, shampoo, and shower gel.
Meanwhile, the toilet and shower area were clean and well-maintained. The only window was located in the shower area, but it came with solid blinds for privacy.

Starting the Day with Complimentary Breakfast
Another advantage of staying at Go Sleep Hotel Hankou was the free breakfast. Although the choices were somewhat limited, having a meal ready before heading out made our mornings much easier.
The only challenge was that the dining area could get crowded, especially when guests arrived late for the buffet. Since the hotel accommodates many travelers, finding a table during peak breakfast hours required a little patience.
Still, having breakfast included was a valuable convenience. When traveling with a busy itinerary, saving time in the morning means more time for sightseeing rather than searching for a restaurant.

Affordable Comfort in Taipei
What made our stay even better was the affordable rate. We paid around P1,260 (approximately USD 26.76) per person per night, which we found reasonable considering the location, breakfast inclusion, and available amenities.
For travelers exploring Taipei on a budget, finding a hotel that combines comfort, accessibility, and value can be challenging. Go Sleep Hotel Hankou managed to provide all three.
Experiencing Taipei After Dark
The area surrounding the hotel became even more exciting when night arrived. As the sky turned dark, Ximending came alive with colorful neon lights, shops, food stalls, and entertainment options.
Because of its location, we could easily walk around in the evening and explore nearby convenience stores, electronic shops, restaurants, and other attractions. The lively neighborhood added another layer of enjoyment to our Taipei adventure.

More Than Just Accommodation
Beyond rooms and breakfast, Go Sleep Hotel Hankou also offered additional services such as postal assistance, tour packages, and airport pick-up arrangements. These extra services made traveling more convenient, especially for visitors who wanted help organizing parts of their trip.
Our Two Thumbs Up Experience
Overall, our group had a wonderful stay at Go Sleep Hotel Hankou. It provided the comfort, convenience, and affordability that we needed during our Taipei visit.
While it may not be a luxury hotel, it delivered what matters most to travelers: a good location, friendly service, clean rooms, and practical amenities.
For anyone planning a trip to Taipei and looking for an affordable place near Ximending, Go Sleep Hotel Hankou is a choice we would gladly recommend. Each member of our group gave it a two thumbs up, and it is definitely a hotel we would consider staying at again.
