Planning my Seoul Trip

The Gangnam Style, Korean soap operas and the K-Pop have invaded my TV screens, bringing my curiosity on South Korea to a higher level. Excitement is rushing through me as I plan my trip to Seoul this coming April. It will be in the spring time, thus, the picture of cherry blossoms gives me more reason to look forward to this journey.

Traveling abroad, especially to a place you’ve never been to, may be both enthralling and scary, not knowing how to go about the planning and what to expect at your destination. For me, one thing’s for sure – it has to be value for my money. Whenever promo fares pop out of my inbox, it’s time to get the ball rolling. It helps to check sites like Expedia for discounts on vacations to plan your trip better.

I had to ask my colleague, Eunice Fernando, who has been to Seoul several times for advice. She gave me tips on what places to see and even sent me photos of her most recent trip.

Posting some queries on my social media sites also added more information for me to ponder on and plot out my itinerary. Checking out blogs and travel websites help a lot. The video I watched on Huffington Post gave me a glimpse of what I can find in South Korea’s capital.

Famous landmarks that I think I need to see are:

– Changdeokgung Palace

– Trickeye Museum (I’m excited faboutthis!)

– N Seoul Tower

– Bukchon Hanok Village

– Hello Kitty Cafe

– Samsung

– Lotte World

I’ll be fixing my itinerary, so suggestions are still welcome and will ready everything for my Korean visa.

And, of course, watch out for my photos and posts. I hope to share my adventure to would-be first-time travelers to Seoul, South Korea.
