Why should you stay at Go Sleep Hotel-Hankou when in Taipei? Unlimited drinks, which is composed mainly of different kinds of coffee, tea, apple cider, orange juice, grapefruit, and water, are accessible in its lobby cum dining area. An English speaking staff in their tourist assistance corner is friendly and willing to lend a hand. Free breakfast in the morning, although you have to compete with hundred other guests in getting a table when you come in late for the buffet. And a block away from the Ximending Commercial area as well as a walking distance from the MRT.
The room that we got was good for three to four persons and space was just right. It has a bright and colorful feel with its flower-designed wallpaper. The beds are wide with clean sheets, pillows and comforters. There’s television, a hairdryer, water pot, refrigerator, and vault. Some items are provided, such as slippers, toothbrush kit, razor, brush, soap, cotton buds, towels, shampoo, and shower gel.
The toilet and shower room is clean, although the only window we have was the one at the shower area, which can be covered with solid blinds. And the best part is, the rate was affordable. We paid about P1,260 (USD 26.76) per person per night, which was not bad.
Breakfast may have limited choices but still a better option than no breakfast at all. When you are travelling, breakfast at the hotel comes in handy, especially if you have an itinerary to follow. Otherwise, you end up looking for a restaurant and have to juggle various choices, if there are any, which is a bit time-consuming.
And when the sky turns dark and the neon lights take over the cityscape, Go Sleep Hotel‘s surroundings become abuzz with various shops, eateries and what have you. Convenience stores, electronic stalls, and other night attractions are readily available.
They also offer other services such as postal services, tour packages, and airport pick-up. It’s a good choice for a fair price. Our group was extremely satisfied with Go Sleep Hotel. It’s a two thumbs up from each one of us. And it’s something I’d recommend to friends as well.

It has been a long time since my last visit to Taiwan. I think it changes a lot now. Perhaps on my next trip to Taipei I will consider this hotel. Its affordable and convenient.
Looks like everything one would need for an affordable hotel in Taiwan. Have not had the chance to explore Taiwan as of yet, only a brief stopover at the airport. One day soon! 🙂
Yes, and it is very affordable indeed.
